Taken at Apenheul, I think this might be a Colobus, am not absolutely certain. Regardless of the species’ title, he was magnificent to see while he was watching over the other. Apenheul opened in 1971 as a small but revolutionary zoo. It is very unique and is the first and only zoo in the world where monkeys live free in the forest but can also walk around the visitors. It was a wonderful experience to be so close to the primates and watch their interaction. A great place to visit for both children and adults. It’s located in Apeldoorn in the Netherlands.
